About the menu

Auntie's Morning Porridge is a hidden gem in Bangkok’s bustling Ratchathewi district, offering a comforting breakfast experience that locals rave about. This modest push cart tucked away near Phaya Thai Road serves up silky smooth congee enriched with a generous mix of tender pork, salted eggs, shrimp, and mushrooms. The standout is the super mixer (number 12), a hearty blend praised for its rich flavors and satisfying texture.

Despite the humble setup with only a few roadside tables, the porridge bursts with warmth and authenticity, perfect for an early start or a soothing meal any time. Diners often enhance their bowls with pepper and chili, adding a spicy kick that complements the delicate base. The texture is flawlessly smooth, making every spoonful a delight. Auntie’s fast and friendly service, along with the soulful recipes, make it a must-visit for porridge lovers seeking true Thai comfort food.

Tasty porridge with lots of ingredients, must try the super mixer (number 12). Some seats available for dining in. I always make it a point to wake up early to eat her porridge despite being a late riser.
